Medical Yoga For Spinal Health and Back Pain Relief
Sorrel Sand offers private or group classes in this seven-exercise series of movements designed to gently stretch the tendons, ligaments and muscles and align the spine (often accompanied by pops and cracks as the spine realigns), with a final exercise to strengthen the core abdominal muscles, for spinal support and protection.
Once learned, they can be done in 10 minutes, and are an excellent daily practice for greater flexibility, strength and spinal alignment. The effects, although felt immediately, do build cumulatively, with increasing and profound benefits.
